HOW TO
SUBMIT ART
(Be sure to
read the Artist's Terms before submit)
Take a well lit photograph of your art piece. Nothing should
be in the photograph except your art piece and a solid
background. Depending on what type of art piece you are
submitting the background may be edited out. (ex. paintings
will be displayed alone without a background while
sculptures will show some background so choose a good solid
colored background for sculptures since it will be seen in
the photograph).
We recommend using a digital camera to take your photograph
but an ordinary photograph will do as long as it is VERY
CLEAR. Remember that collectors will be viewing your art for
purchase and you want to show them the best representation
you can.
If you are using a regular non-digital photograph you will
then have to scan it in a scanner and onto a computer.
If you do not have a scanner and do not know anyone that
does then check in our links or your local copy center to
help you. Save it on a computer as a jpg or gif file. These
files need be no more than 500px wide or 96K.
You will then submit the files to our email address located
at the bottom of the submission form.
Each work of art requires you to fill out a submission form
per art piece and an email with your attached image per art
piece.
All paintings and art pieces will be displayed frameless
unless you note that the frame is an essential part
of the composition of your work.
